Description

Planning on a break in the UK? We work in partnership with Haven, and they will be more than happy to help you arrange a break that suits your family. Read Martin's story to see how our holiday grant through Haven helped his family. When using your Haven grant, the travelling group must include the main carer and the child that you applied for.

Please note that we cannot provide a grant for a family break you have already booked or taken. Once you receive your award letter, we recommend that you contact Haven straight away to check availability of your chosen dates, unless your award letter states otherwise.

In which case, you must follow the instructions in your award letter. When you ring, Haven will tell you about the booking process, and inform you of the options open to you. You must make a booking with Haven within nine months of receiving your family break grant. Breaks can be taken after nine months, as long as they are booked within this time period.

If a booking has not been made, or if there are any unused funds after nine months, these will be returned to Family Fund. If you would prefer, you can use your grant to book two short breaks, rather than one long one.

You must still book both of these breaks within nine months of receiving your award letter. Due to travel restrictions and park closures, we have extended all family break grants due to expire over the coming months to 30 September This gives you more time to book your break for a future date you do not have to take your break before 30 September.

If your grant expires after 30 Septemberit is not affected. Download our Haven leaflet. For those who haven't received a family break award this time, there are still special offers and extra savings on all Haven self-catered or touring holidays or short breaks.

Calls to s are charged at standard UK rates and will be included in any inclusive minute bundles.
